Meet your Church Council

Church Governance in NutShell

The Well is a part of The Foursquare Church denomination. Governance is how we as a church function regarding decision making and accountability. We are what’s called Modified Episcopal.

Lead Pastor is appointed by the District Supervisor. The lead pastor is responsible for the over all ministry of the church and stewardship of property.

Church Council is a small group of church partners who are dominated, vetted, then ratified. The church council serves as an advisory board in regards to church finances and church staff management.

The church congregation role is to participate in church ministries, participate in serving on church councils, ratifying church council members, decision making in buying /selling of properties, and church name changes.

Our district supervisor is Pastor Billy Calderwood of the Western District.
